Group Mani - Geometric!

Hello Girls! I have another group mani today and the theme is Geometric!

My take on Geometric nails is inspired by a mani I saw on Pinterest! There are seriously a tonne of great manis on Pinterest and I'm really tempted to do a string of Pinterest inspired manicures!

For my mani today, I used 3 of the polishes from China Glaze's Bohemian collection - 'Unpredictable', 'No Plain Jane' and 'Deviantly Daring' and created some geometric shapes using stripping tapes.

There is a strand of my dog's fur stuck on my ring finger. I apologize for that. LOL

My favourite out of these 3 polishes is definitely 'Deviantly Daring'! The formula is simply great, it's opaque in one coat and the color is simply gorgeous!

On the other hand, both 'Unpredictable' and 'No Plain Jane' are still sheer and create bald spots on one coat and definitely needs at least two coats.

What do you think? Do you love this mani like I do? :)

Monochrome Monday!

Yay! I am super hardworking this week! 2 posts in a row! Today we have another group challenge and it's Monochrome Monday!

For today's post, I did black and white nautical nails using OPI Alpine Snow as base, and added black strips using stripping tapes and Wet n Wild Black Creme. This is my first time using Wet n Wild's Black and it's great! It's even thick enough to stamp, although the stamped image is as opaque as Konad's special Black polish.

For my accent nail, I stamped the anchor image from Bundle monster plate BM-08 using Konad special Black polish.

It took a lot of time and patience for me to complete this set of manicure but I'm really pleased with the results! I think I'm getting the hang of tape mani already! Slow and steady is the key~~ :)

Striping Tape Mani

Did a striping tape manicure using Color Club Revvolution over my previous mani - Model's own Indian Ocean - and I must say it looks FABULOUS! I love it!

Indian Ocean on it's own look mostly pale blue but under these thin stripes, it's this pinkish-purple sunset colour majority of the time! Pretty pretty!

I'm in love with this mani and the idea of using Striping tapes for tape mani. Thanks to the genius whoever she is for coming up with this fantastic idea!
