Very excited to get my OPI Color Paint collection cos I've heard/read so many great things about them! I absolutely adore my OPI Sheer Tints so I'm quite happy that now I have more shades to play with.
One thing to note is that the Color Paints are mostly much more opaque than the sheer tints collection.
For my manicure today, I used a nail art brush to dap the colors from the OPI Color Paint collection on to my nails to create a water color kind of effect. I think it looks a little like tie-dye too which is actually quite pretty!
I stamped on the Silver Chrome shade 'Silver Canvas' for some effect with Bundle Monster Plate BM-312 and I think it turns out kind of cool, making the colors seems slightly muted and less strinking. Great for covering up imperfections too! :)
Have you gotten your OPI Color Paints collection too?

Roses Over Don't Be A Luna-Tic
I have this BM plate for a long time already and finally got around to using it! Super glad I did cos it's so beautiful!
I stamped the design over China Glaze Don't Be A Luna-tic from the 2013 Hologlam collection. Can't really see the holographic due to the stamp covering most of the polish.
This photo shows a little of the holographic but not much as well.. But it looks rather artistic though don't you think? LOL

Skittles Zebra
Some colourful nails today!
For this mani, I free handed half of each nail a different colour and stamped on the zebra prints with Bundle Monster plate BM-223.
Some of the halves overlapped and created some interesting combinations.. but not all of them are pretty though.. =P (green and pink turns out looking dirty and looks like smudges..)
What do you think of this manicure? I personally think Blue + Yellow combination looks the best!

Glam Nails!
Gave my nails a little glam today with a mixture of Leopard & Zebra prints, and an accent nail with China Glaze Glistening Snow.
Glistening Snow is a silver with holographic glitter polish that is meant to be used on it's own more than as a glitter top coat as it's too opaque. The formula and finish for this polish is the same as many others released by China Glaze such as - Hello Gorgeous (Pink), I'm Not Lion (Champagne), I Herd That (Copper).. This finish is really becoming one of my favourite! It's easy to apply and the bling is always just right. Love love!
For my animal prints, I sucks at doing Zebra, so I stamped on the zebra print on part of my nails with Bundle Monster plate BM-223 and free handed the leopard prints on. Overall I think I overdid the Zebra prints, but it looks okay from afar, so I'll just leave it as it is. You might have already noticed, I'm not so much of a perfectionist. =P
That's all for today, chaos!

Singapore National Day 2012
It's Singapore's 47th National Day on 9th August so as tradition, I'm doing national day nails today!
I did 2 last year which in my opinion was not that good, but managed to get many likes for it, so I'm hoping that this year's would be better.
Red & White are Singapore's colours so I painted my nails with my favourite Red polish - OPI Red My Fortune Cookie and stamped the design from Bundle monster plate BM-301 with Konad special white polish.
I also dug out the stars from Kleancolor Blind Date and dotted them onto my nails as I already had a few layers of topcoat in between each coats and I didnt want my manicure to become too thick.
I think my national day nails this year is pretty cute, hopefully it's much better than last year's.. haha.. Happy National Day Singapore!

Floam Gradient!
Finally I got around to using my Floam since I got it awhile ago. I decided not paint all my nails with Floam because I'm already anticipating the nightmare of removing it, so for my other nails, I decided to pick colors in my polish stash that are closest to the glitter polish!
For my pinkie, ring & index fingers, I did a gradient following Nailasaurus's Gradient Tutorial with China Glaze Lemon Fizz, China Glaze Four Leaf Clover and OPI Ogre-the-top Blue.
Lastly, I stamped over them using one of my favourite design from the new Bundle Monster plates BM-321 and special Konad Black. Seriously, the 3rd Bundle Monster plates is a must get for all polish lovers who stamps! The designs are all so unique and pretty, and they all stamps great! Major love here!
What do you think of my mani today? I personally loved it. How about you? :)

Monochrome Monday!
Yay! I am super hardworking this week! 2 posts in a row! Today we have another group challenge and it's Monochrome Monday!
For today's post, I did black and white nautical nails using OPI Alpine Snow as base, and added black strips using stripping tapes and Wet n Wild Black Creme. This is my first time using Wet n Wild's Black and it's great! It's even thick enough to stamp, although the stamped image is as opaque as Konad's special Black polish.
For my accent nail, I stamped the anchor image from Bundle monster plate BM-08 using Konad special Black polish.
It took a lot of time and patience for me to complete this set of manicure but I'm really pleased with the results! I think I'm getting the hang of tape mani already! Slow and steady is the key~~ :)

Stamping Sunday: Circle, Circle, Dot, Dot
Welcome to today's Stamping Sunday! For today's challenge, we're supposed to do Circles or Dots and I did some Holo circle stamping!

I actually took alot of pictures today as I couldn't see the holo-ness in my small camera screen and thought the camera couldn't capture, but it did!
I had to choose through the twenty over pictures and finally selected 5 pictures to post here! :)

For the base, I used BK holographic polish number 9 which is a beautiful aqueous blue! BK holo polishes are pretty affordable considering that they are 15ml compared to HITS which are only 6ml.
BK Holo no. 9 isnt very opaque though.. For the base, I used 3 coats to achieve this effect, but I guess you can get away with 2 especially if you are going to stamp over it.

For the stamping, I used China Glaze Electra Magenta - one of the China Glaze Limited Edition polish from their Tronica collection - with Bundle monster plate BM-19.
Thinking that the Holo-ness wasnt captured on camera, I decided to try the finger poses that Chalkboard Nails do.. and the effect was great!

So what do you think? Is it better with bottle or without?

A-England Lady In The Lake
Today I have A-England Lady In The Lake on my nails!
Lady In The Lake is a deep purple holographic polish that is simply simply gorgeous! A-England holo polishes are quite interesting, they all seems to be scattered holos, yet there is a faint and very obvious line of rainbow under the sunlight.
I also finally tried stamping with the french tip plates! I have lots of them but never tried them as I though they're weird and too thick.. My nails are fairly short so there's no way I can stamp in the whole image and it'll still be tips.
So anyway.. this is it! I stamped with BM plate BM-216, the design that looked like a peacock tail.. I only stamped part of the image so it wouldnt be too big on my nails.. What do you think? :)
