Holographic Rainbow

I have some beautiful holographic rainbows today!

Rainbow holographic nails

This set of nail art was inspired by a post on Pinterest from pinkandpolishednails. Check out the original nail art here.

For my version, I used a few colours from China Glaze, and topped them with a coat of Jade Psicodelica for the holographic effect.

The colours I used are:

China Glaze Make Some Noise
China Glaze Neon & On & On
China Glaze Lemon Fizz
China Glaze Re-fresh Mint
China Glaze Splish Splash

For my accent finger, I used Color Club Harp On It for some extra holographic effect.

I know my holographic polish photos hasnt been very holo lately. That's because I can't seem to catch the sun anymore. :(

Either I'm too early (before I go to work in the morning), or I'm too late (after I wakes up during weekend).. so I apologies that you guys have to see disappointing holo photos these few times when the actual polish is dazzling in real life. haha

Stay tune for more nail art next time! :)

Purple Leopard Print Nail Art

It had been a while since I did nail art so I decided to do a simple leopard print nail art to get me going again!

A successful attempt if you ignore the smudge marks. =P

Easter Nails

Easter is coming so I decided to work on an Easter themed nails today!

I did something really simple with just a bunny and a couple of easter eggs.. as you know.. I'm not capable of doing really complicated nail art designs. =P

Anyway I decided to mattify this mani and I love it this way! You can't really see it now, but there's actually a bit of screw up with my bunny but the matte top coat covered it up. It'll probably get amplified if I used a normal top coat so I'm really glad that the matte top coat saved me! :)

We don't celebrate Easter here, but what do you think of my Easter nails? Did I capture the spirit of it? haha!

OPI Can't Find My Czechbook
OPI Pedal Faster Suzi!
OPI Jade Is The New Black

Dripping Ice Cream Nails!

I have been wanting to try dripping nail art for quite some time after seeing all the beautiful pictures and what I must say is.. It's really not as easy as it looks. :(

For the base, I used OPI Wooden Shoe Like to Know? and stamped on the stripes to create the look of an ice cream cone, and painted on the 'ice cream' with some pastel colors. Maybe it's because my nail beds are really small? I had some trouble with trying to make drips of the right sizes.. And before I knew it.. All of my drips began to look the same! -.-"

I think I really need to work on improving my nail art skill.. getting super lazy!

Floam Gradient!

Finally I got around to using my Floam since I got it awhile ago. I decided not paint all my nails with Floam because I'm already anticipating the nightmare of removing it, so for my other nails, I decided to pick colors in my polish stash that are closest to the glitter polish!

For my pinkie, ring & index fingers, I did a gradient following Nailasaurus's Gradient Tutorial with China Glaze Lemon Fizz, China Glaze Four Leaf Clover and OPI Ogre-the-top Blue.

Lastly, I stamped over them using one of my favourite design from the new Bundle Monster plates BM-321 and special Konad Black. Seriously, the 3rd Bundle Monster plates is a must get for all polish lovers who stamps! The designs are all so unique and pretty, and they all stamps great! Major love here!

What do you think of my mani today? I personally loved it. How about you? :)
