Swatch: Nabi Holographic Flamingo

Nabi Holographic Flamingo

Nabi Flamingo is a magenta pink holographic polish with a beautiful purple flash!

Nabi Holographic Flamingo

Formula is great although almost all of Nabi's holographic polishes that I have tried so far are on the sheer side and requires about 3-4 coat to bring out the colour.

Nabi Holographic Flamingo

Isnt it really gorgeous? Although I must admit that I dont think there would be holographic polish which I dont think is gorgeous.. LOL

Nabi Holographic Flamingo vs China Glaze Infra Red

For comparison, the first polish that I thought of is China Glaze Infra Red from the CG Hologlam 2013 collection!

The color for both polishes is quite close though definitely not the same, and their holographic finish is very different too. Nabi Holographic Flamingo is more of the coarse type of holographic finish while China Glaze Infra Red is the smooth type of holographic finish.

I guess out of these 2, I would prefer Nabi Holographic Flamingo as I was never quite a fan of China Glaze Infra Red.. The holographic effect for CG Infra Red is a little too weak for me.

As I also have a few other pinks from Nabi, I decided to do a comparison between them as well.

In the picture above, I'm having Nabi L.Pink on my middle finger and Nabi Hot Pink on my pinkie.

This is just for comparison between the colours. The holographic effect for the 2 other pinks was not captured well.

Let me know you think! Do you like Nabi Holographic Flamingo?

Roses Over Don't Be A Luna-Tic

China Glaze Don't Be A Luna-Tic

I have this BM plate for a long time already and finally got around to using it! Super glad I did cos it's so beautiful!

I stamped the design over China Glaze Don't Be A Luna-tic from the 2013 Hologlam collection. Can't really see the holographic due to the stamp covering most of the polish.

China Glaze Don't Be A Luna-Tic

This photo shows a little of the holographic but not much as well.. But it looks rather artistic though don't you think? LOL

Swatch: China Glaze Take A Trek

Finally! The last of the Hologlam 2013 collection! Today I have swatches of China Glaze Take A Trek!

Take A Trek is a cool denim holographic polish from the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 collection and this is absolutely beautiful!!

Application-wise, I used a normal base coat and there was bald spots for the first coat, but the second coat covered them up pretty well.

OMG, I have to say this again & again.. Take A Trek is absolutely gorgeous!! Holo-ness is normal grade but the colour! Who can resist denim?! Denim holo!

I love this! I think it's my favourite of the collection! And to think it's placed at the last! I totally chose to swatch them at random and I think this is fate. Save the best for the last. LOL

Finally I'm done! What do you think of this collection? Love them? or just meh? I totally love them! Holos all the way! Keep them coming please!

I'll be doing a post consolidating all these swatches of the Hologlam collection soon!

Swatch: China Glaze Get Outta My Space

Day 11: Today I have swatches of China Glaze Get Outta My Space!

Get Outta Of My Space is a light powered violet holograhic polish from the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 collection. Beautiful soft colour with power holos!

Application-wise, I used a normal base coat and there was bald spots for the first coat, but the second coat covered them up pretty well.

One of the more common shades from the collection. From the bottle, it's rather similar to Colour Club Cloud Nine.

Super holo! The holo shone even under dim lights!

What do you think? Would you get this soft feminine beauty?

Swatch: China Glaze Don’t Be A Luna-tic

Day 10:  Today I have swatches of China Glaze Don't Be A Luna-tic!

Don't Be A Luna-tic is a turquoise aqua blue holographic polish from the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 collection. This polish is actually more holo than what is captured in the photos!

Application-wise, this polish is kinda sheer so I had to use 3 coats to cover up all the bald spots. Application is smooth though, like applying MUS holo polishes.

Don't Be A Luna-tic is a tone greener and slightly lighter than SCI-FLY BY.

I had a hard time capturing the holo on film as the colour reflects the light a lot.

I like this one! I don't know why, but I like it. Kinda feels like I have hi-tech nails when I have it on. LOL

Swatch: China Glaze Infra Red

Day 9: Today I have swatches of China Glaze Infra Red

Infra Red is a warm magenta pink holographic polish from the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 collection. This is one of the darker colours in the collection but it's not as holo as the rest. :(

Application-wise, this is polish is super smooth to apply, almost no bald spots and opaque. However, I think it has a slight problem of staining..

Infra Red reminds me immediately of OPI Extravagance & Orly Miss Conduct, so I took my bottles out for a little comparison. It seems that Infra Red is the missing link between the 2.. LOL.. I'll do a swatch comparison next time.

Although the holo is not so great, it's still a beautiful colour though. If you love DS Extravagance or Miss Conduct, you'll probably love this too!

Swatch: China Glaze Cosmic Dust

Day 8!! I'm already over halfway there! Today I have swatches of China Glaze Cosmic Dust!

Cosmic Dust is a silver metal holographic polish from the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 collection. I do think this colour is rather unique as it's not the usual bright silver holographic like OMG, but is a silver with a hint of grey.

Application-wise, this polish is rather sheer and I had apply 3 coats to cover all the bald spots and achieve a opaque finish.

Super holo!

I here declare that I'm in love with the Hologlam 2013 collection! I have been seeing people say that this collection is not enough, but that is not true! Sure, it's not the same type of holo like the ColorClub Halo Hues, but it's holding it's own well!

This collection would probably be like the old OMG collection and increase 5 times in value next time. I for one would definitely not miss them!

Swatch: China Glaze When Stars Collide

Day 7: Today I have swatches of China Glaze When Stars Collide! After 2 days of light colours, we have a dark colour again!

When Stars Collide is described by China Glaze as a warm maroon colour but IMO, it more like a deep plum colour. This polish is slightly more red IRL than what is shown in the pictures.

Application-wise, it's super smooth. I used a normal base coat and there was bald spots for the first coat, but the second coat covered them up pretty well.

This is not really my type my colour, but I'm sure a lot of people will love this. It's super holo too!

I sure many of you would love this shade! Is this a must-get for you?

Swatch: China Glaze Astro-Hot

Day 6: Today I have swatches of China Glaze Astro-Hot!

Astro-Hot is a soft baby pink holographic polish from the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 collection. This is also one of the common colours from the collection.. there are already lots of baby pink holographic polishes out there.

Application-wise, this is the best one so far. I used a normal base coat and there were hardly any bald spots, compared to the others that I had swatched which all had problems with bald spots. I almost pulled it off with one coat, but it's slightly sheer at one coat, so I still went with my normal 2 coats.

It's actually really holo! All the polishes from this collection belongs to the smooth holo kinds and not the coarse ones like ColorClub's Halo Hues. But that doesn't mean they are not as pretty!

Pretty pretty!

So this adds to my collection of pink holos, I think the closest I have to this is probably MUS Britta and ColorClub Halo-grahic. I'll do a comparison post after I'm done with all the swatches from this collection!

Swatch: China Glaze SCI-FLY BY

Day 5: Today I have swatches of China Glaze SCI-FLY BY!

SCI-FLY BY is a light silver blue holographic polish from the China Glaze Hologlam 2013 collection. This is probably one of the more common colours from the collection, but the holo-ness is amazing!!

Application-wise, I used a normal base coat and there was bald spots. This is the first from the collection which I had to use 3 coats to cover up the bald spots, however application was really smooth.

I'm impressed by how holo this SCI-FLY BY is! The holo even managed to shine through under my dim room lights!

One of the lighter colours from the collection.

Although this colour is not very unique, but the holo-ness made up for it IMO. I'm getting impressed by this collection so far!

Swatch: China Glaze Galactic Gray

Day 4 and today I have Galactic Gray for you!

Galactic Gray is a gun metal holographic nail polish and I must tell you, it's really really super gorgeous! The dark colours in this collection are all super amazing!

Application-wise, I used a normal base coat and there was bald spots for the first coat, but the second coat covered them up pretty well.

If you look closely, I missed a spot on my pinkie and you can see the bald spot there..

We live for beautiful rainbows!

I love Galactic Gray! Definitely a must get! Don't even have to ask!!
