China Glaze Scattered & Tattered

China Glaze Scattered & Tattered

I must admit, I was never a fan of any of the polishes from the China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'n Pieces collection, because I always felt that they looked kinda messy. But now I changed my mind! Check out Scattered & Tattered on my nails!

I was actually inspired to do this nail when I saw something similar on the hands of another girl while I was on the train. I had no idea what she used, but it I immediately thought of Scattered & Tattered & can't wait to try it out on my own. :)

China Glaze Scattered & Tattered

I used China Glaze Cloud Nine for my base, for a sheer off-white base colour with subtle glitters, and topped one coat of Scattered & Tattered over it.

Very satisfied with the effects here, with it looking a little like graffiti or splashed paint.. haha!

Cutesy Little Polka Dots!

Polka Dots Nail Art

I felt like doing something cute, so I decided to go with the classic polka dots!

The polishes I used today are OPI Chic From Ears To Tails and OPI Can't Find My Czechbook! Both very bubble gummy polishes with beautiful shiny gel like finish. Love them!

What do you think of my nails today? :)

OPI What Wizardy Is This with Jade Psicodelica

Did a simple manicure today and I'm loving it!

OPI What Wizardy Is This with Jade Psicodelica

I combined a Holo polish Jade Psicodelica with a sands polish OPI What Wizardy Is This? and it gorgeous~!!

Loving the contrast over here. Too bad I managed to smudge it right after I took my photos by scratching myself and tips got rubbed off.

Here's another pic!

China Glaze Travel In Color

If you remember, I actually posted about China Glaze Travel In Color (Iridescent Top Coat) in my Happy HoliGlaze swatch post, but I used it over some creme polishes which did not bring out the true beauty of the Top Coat.

One of my readers, Liz Blyer (Thank you Liz!) actually commented on that post to say that Travel In Color is stunning over Black, so that's what I'm going to show today!

China Glaze Travel In Color

In the photo, I have 2 coats of China Glaze Travel In Color, over 2 coats of black creme polish.

China Glaze Travel In Color

It's really hard to capture the effect on camera, but Travel in Color flashes a beautiful purple with specks of blue when the light hits it.

The black base brings out the iridescent effect really well!

I guess the right base colour is super important for this polish to bring out the gorgeousness! :)

Simple Strip Nails

Simple Strjp Nails

I admit that I had became abit slug-ish and unproductive lately.. something that I would really like to change and get myself back on my feet again.. Get back to doing productive stuffs and putting meaning into my life.

I want to start painting my nails regularly again as well, just that I'm kind of having a creative block lately.. I need more inspiration!!

I did something really simple today.. Just because I like the colours. :) It's nothing wow material.. but just something to get me started again~
