Stained Glass Nail Art

Hi Ladies!

Today I have a nail art inspired by stained glass!

For my nail art today, I stamped on the black lines with Bundle Monster plate BM-208, and dapped on the colors using all four of the OPI Sheer tints.

The OPI sheer tints is definitely one of the best thing that OPI came up with. You can do so many different designs with them! Check out an Easter nail art that I did previously, and this. They're perfect for stained glass nails!

The sheer tints are really sheer so you dont have to worry about overlapping the colors. In fact, overlapping them actually came out with some really nice colors like the greens..

Anyway, my Seche Vite is bubbling like crazy now but that actually makes the stained glass look more realistic.. LOL..

That's all for today, I'm kinda dry on nail art ideas now so I might just do something simple and basic next. :)

Holographic Rainbow

I have some beautiful holographic rainbows today!

Rainbow holographic nails

This set of nail art was inspired by a post on Pinterest from pinkandpolishednails. Check out the original nail art here.

For my version, I used a few colours from China Glaze, and topped them with a coat of Jade Psicodelica for the holographic effect.

The colours I used are:

China Glaze Make Some Noise
China Glaze Neon & On & On
China Glaze Lemon Fizz
China Glaze Re-fresh Mint
China Glaze Splish Splash

For my accent finger, I used Color Club Harp On It for some extra holographic effect.

I know my holographic polish photos hasnt been very holo lately. That's because I can't seem to catch the sun anymore. :(

Either I'm too early (before I go to work in the morning), or I'm too late (after I wakes up during weekend).. so I apologies that you guys have to see disappointing holo photos these few times when the actual polish is dazzling in real life. haha

Stay tune for more nail art next time! :)

Blue Themed Nails!

Hi Ladies! Today I have another color themed post and the theme for today is blue!

Blue Themed Nails

On my index and pinky fingers, I have China Glaze Isle See You Later as base, and topped with China Glaze Don't Be A Flake.

Isle See You Later is a beautiful jelly blue polish, but it really is very very sheer. I had about 5 coats on and I can still see visible nail line.

Blue Themed Nails

On my middle finger, I have Color Club Over The Moon.. The holographic effect isnt very obvious in this photo as I didnt have enough light when I was taking the pictures. But I assure you, the effect is breath taking, especially under strong sunlight!

Color Club Pinky Swear

And lastly on my ring finger, I have this really gorgeous polish from Color Club called Pinky Swear!

Pinky Swear is filled with silver and magenta glitters in a blue shimmer base. The polish is quite dense, and probably more suitable to be used on it's own. I had 2 coats on.. Look how beautiful it is!

Well, that's all for today! I'll be doing more of these color themed nails, stay tuned!

China Glaze Halloween 2014 - Apocalypse Of Color Swatch

Today is swatch day! Today I have 4 polishes from the China Glaze Apocalypse Of Color collection, which is their Halloween collection for 2014.

China Glaze Halloween 2014 - Apocalypse Of Color Swatch

There are actually 6 polishes in this collection including China Glaze Ghoulish Glow which shows up in every Halloween collection so I'm not going to swatch that since there's about few million swatches out there already. The other polish which I'm missing is actually China Glaze But Of Corpse - the green in the collection. Apparently this polish didnt reach Singapore for some reason, so I couldnt get my hands on this one! :(

First swatch is China Glaze I Love Your Guts

China Glaze I Love Your Guts

China Glaze I Love Your Guts is a red polish filled with tiny black glitters that dries to a matte satin finish.

China Glaze I Love Your Guts

The formula for this polish is really tricky because the polish itself is actually very smooth but it dries so quickly that it practically clumps up as you apply. You have to work really really fast with this polish.

China Glaze I Love Your Guts

I applied a coat of top coat over China Glaze I Love Your Guts and it becomes a very pretty strawberry pink shade.

I think you can go without top coat for Halloween, and then go with top coat for Christmas. That will probably be the best way to wear this polish. :)

China Glaze Getting To Gnaw You

China Glaze Getting To Gnaw You

China Glaze Getting To Gnaw You is a very dark brown polish base filled with copper glitters.

China Glaze Getting To Gnaw You

Application is great for this polish, nothing exceptional from the usual China Glaze glitters. The glitters do look reddish in some angle, but they are definitely copper.

An appropriate Halloween color I guess. I dont feel anything for this polish to be honest.

China Glaze Don't Let The Dead Bite

Don't Let The Dead Bite

Don't Let The Dead Bite is a sheer nude pink polish base filled with multi shaped & sized red glitters.

Don't Let The Dead Bite

This is definitely my favourite polish out of these 4! The nude base blends in really well with my skin tone and the polish itself reminds me of undead zombies.. haha

A really creative polish from China Glaze!

China Glaze Rest In Pieces

China Glaze Rest In Pieces

China Glaze Rest In Pieces is a mix of gold, copper & holographic multi shaped glitters in a clear base.

China Glaze Rest In Pieces

To be honest, China Glaze Rest In Pieces looks really out of place in the Halloween collection. It's so bright & cheerful, it should really belong in the Christmas collection instead. -.-"

But nevertheless, a very beautiful mix of glitters in this polish. I really like it on it's own with a thick coat of top coat! :)
