China Glaze Star Hopping Collection Swatches

Hi Everyone! A new China Glaze collection have just landed on Singapore shores but when I did a search on them, I couldn't find much information so I decided to do a swatch post!

China Glaze Star Hopping Collection

China Glaze Star Hopping collection is a 8 bottles glitter bombshell collection! From what I found out online, it was released as a Sally exclusive earlier this year. Not sure why it only came to Singapore now, but I think there are too little swatches and attention on this collection because all the colors are really super super gorgeous!

A more common glitter but still good if you don't have something like this.

Swatch: China Glaze Surprise collection

I was super excited when I saw the preview for this collection and finally I managed to get my hands on them - the China Glaze Surprise collection!

China Glaze Surprise is a glitter topper collection made up of 6 beautiful mix of sparse glitters in a clear base.

This collection doesn't do well if you try to paint them like normal polish as the glitters will either get stuck to the brush & refuse to stay on your nails, or they will all clump together.

The best way I've found is to dap the glitters onto your nails instead of trying to 'apply' them. The good thing is that the clear base is thin so you won't have problems of thick polish even if you do that.

China Glaze Don't Be A Flake

China Glaze Don't Be A Flake is a mix of matte blue and black glitters, and reflective rose pink glitters in a clear base.

I did notice that there are slightly lesser black glitters in there and you'll need to dig around abit for them.

It's a pain in the ass to try and capture the reflective glitters on photo.

China Glaze Glimmer More

China Glaze Glimmer More is filled with a mix of light pink, orange, and yellow matte glitters, and fuchsia metallic glitters.

The soft shades in this polish are quite pretty actually.

China Glaze Glitter Up

China Glaze Glitter Up is a mix of pink, orange & blue matte glitters, and smaller purple glitters.

Those that look like black in the pic above? Those are the purple ones.

China Glaze Glitter Up

Probably my favourite colour combination from this collection. :)

This might look pretty over a number of different base colors.

China Glaze Create A Spark

China Glaze Create A Spark is a mix of black matte glitters, and orange and purple metallic reflective glitters.

This is okay, but I think I like the matte glitters more.. )

China Glaze Shine-nanigans

China Glaze Shine-nanigans is a mix of yellow matte glitters and smaller purple & fuchsia metallic glitters.

A pretty mix of colors, but it might be hard to find a suitable base color for this as there's both light and dark colors here.

The China Glaze Surprise collection would be a great easy solution to spice up a plain base polish. The matte glitters are a little big for me as I have tiny nails so I can't squeeze more them on my nails.

My favourite from this collection would be Glitter Up and Glimmer More!

So this is it. What do you think?

China Glaze Scattered & Tattered

China Glaze Scattered & Tattered

I must admit, I was never a fan of any of the polishes from the China Glaze Glitz Bitz 'n Pieces collection, because I always felt that they looked kinda messy. But now I changed my mind! Check out Scattered & Tattered on my nails!

I was actually inspired to do this nail when I saw something similar on the hands of another girl while I was on the train. I had no idea what she used, but it I immediately thought of Scattered & Tattered & can't wait to try it out on my own. :)

China Glaze Scattered & Tattered

I used China Glaze Cloud Nine for my base, for a sheer off-white base colour with subtle glitters, and topped one coat of Scattered & Tattered over it.

Very satisfied with the effects here, with it looking a little like graffiti or splashed paint.. haha!

What do you think?

Swatch: China Glaze Hello Gorgeous

Hey ladies! I have another glitter swatch post today and it's China Glaze Hello Gorgeous! Very appropriate, don't you think so?

Hello Gorgeous! is one of the two glitter polishes in China Glaze's 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness collection - United In Purpose.

Hello Gorgeous! is a mixture of a few colours of small fine glitters, mainly baby pink, light gold and holographic glitters in a clear base. It is very similar to 'I'm Not Lion' from the Safari collection, just changing the champagne glitters to baby pink.

The other glitter in the collection - United, is very similar to Hello Gorgeous! except that it's about a shade darker.

In direct sunlight. Formula for this polish very good, it's smooth to apply and gives complete coverage in 2 coats. It'll be the type of glitter that covers the base completely rather than a layering glitter.

Hello Gorgeous! also dries matte and still have the grainy feel after 1 coat of Seche Vite. At least 2 coats of top coat is needed for smooth and shiny look.

I was lucky to be able to catch the sun while I have this polish on, or I will usually take indoor artificial light photos. :)

Last but not least, the sparkly holo glitters!

My verdict for this polish is - It gorgeous, it's BABY PINK and it sparkles. Definitely must have! :)
