Princess Tears

Today on my nails I have Princess Tears from A England! I got some of the A England Holographics awhile back from my colleagues for my birthday and this is the first time I'm using them!

Princess Tears is a silvery lilac holographic polish from A England's The Legend collection. Initially I thought the A England holographic polishes are all scattered holos, but Princess Tears is actually quite linear! The formula for my bottle is on the thick side and not as easy to apply.. pretty different from what I'm seeing online so I guess it might be just my bottle? :(

I added this really unique lace sticker over my Princess Tears as you know.. I like to spice things up a little, but it ended up looking a little cheap in the photo. I assure you, it looks amazing in real life. Cameras are just irritating at times for picking up too much details.

Hope you like my version of Princess Tears.. A funky Princess with zebra print lace! :)

Comparison: OPI Pirouette My Whistle vs Nubar White Polka Dot

Today I'm going to do a comparison post on OPI Pirouette My Whistle from the OPI NYC Ballet collection and Nubar's White Polka Dot. I got these 2 polishes recently and thought they really look similar from the bottle so I decided to swatch them both! :)

WPD = White Polka Dot, PMW = Pirouette My Whistle

These are 2 coats of White Polka Dot & Pirouette My Whistle over 4 coats of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu.
I guess the most prominent difference between the 2 polishes are the micro glitters. Pirouette My Whistle have dense silver micro glitters while White Polka Dot have sparse pearly white micro glitters. The larger white hex glitters looks the same for both polish (atleast from what I can see).

Between these 2 polish, I actually prefer White Polka Dot over Pirouette My Whistle. OPI tends to overkill with their silver micro glitters sometimes and this is one of them. (OPI Save Me is another one).

Signing off with another coat of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu over all of them for a jelly sandwich!

'Minnie' Nails

Don't my nails today look very Minnie Mouse inspired? I didnt actually had Minnie in mind when I picked out the colours but this whole mani really just screams 'Minnie' - especially with the white acrylic ribbon!

The red polish used in this mani is 'Red Lights Ahead.. Where?' from OPI's new Holland Collection. I didn't think I would love this colour, but I do! 'Red Lights Ahead.. Where?' is a slightly coral red with a fantastic formula and coverage. I only used one coat for this polish and it's just so opaque! It applies really smooth like butter as well! Love it!

Was really busy making nail polish jewelries this week so there wasn't any new posts.. But I already have quite a few nail polish combinations and comparisons on my to do list. Hopefully I'll be able to find the time to do & publish them soon! :)

Stamping Over Xinling Suede Polish

I have a lovely stamping mani today! The polish I used today is a Suede polish I got from Taiwan from the brand Xinling!

The polish is really easy to use, just a little thick. I don't remember how much I got it for, but I think it's not too expensive so it's really value for money!

For this mani, I stamped with Konad Plate m83 using Konad special black polish. I think it really look nice and elegant! Don't think it'll last very long without top coat though.

What do you think of this mani?

Birthday Mani!

This is my lazy birthday mani this year! I have quite a lot of things on my hands these days so I didn't really have time to do some complicated nail art for my Birthday mani, but doesn't these look like frostings & sprinkles? I guess they are sort of suitable for the occasion as well! Don't you think so? :)

For this mani, I layered about 2 coats of Tony Moly's Shooting Star over OPI Rumple Wiggin'. Shooting Star is a sheer purple creme with glitters, sort of like a purple version of Relvon Whimsical.

The glitters are quite sparse, but fairly easily to get out of the bottle. Didnt really have to dig much. I also have the pink and blue version of this polish, but this is definitely my fav out of the three!

That's all for today! Hope everyone will have a great day today, cheers!

Striping Tape Mani

Did a striping tape manicure using Color Club Revvolution over my previous mani - Model's own Indian Ocean - and I must say it looks FABULOUS! I love it!

Indian Ocean on it's own look mostly pale blue but under these thin stripes, it's this pinkish-purple sunset colour majority of the time! Pretty pretty!

I'm in love with this mani and the idea of using Striping tapes for tape mani. Thanks to the genius whoever she is for coming up with this fantastic idea!
