Hi Ladies! Today I have swatches for half of the China Glaze Spring 2014 City Flourish collection!
City Flourish comprise of 12 creme colors, and most of them are pastels. Definitely my type of colors! The collection is divided into 2 sub-collections, which are Peonies & Park Ave and Pollen In Love.
Today I will be showing you swatches from the Peonies & Park Ave half of this collection!
China Glaze In A Lily Bit is a beautiful light lilac creme polish with a little hint of pink.
Application is great! I achieved this in 2 easy coats and Seche Vite top coat. It looked just a tiny bit streaky after the 2 coats, but Seche Vite smoothed them out pretty easily.
China Glaze Petal To The Metal is a peachy coral creme polish that's almost neon!
Application is great as well, 2 coats with top coat!
China Glaze Peonies & Park Ave is a bright neon pink but creme polish. I know.. It's complicated. LOL
Application is great, applies like a thicker than typical neon. This is 2 coats with top coat.
China Glaze Spring In My Step is a very pale beige-pink creme polish. Very soft & pretty polish.
Application is great, though there was some bald spots. This took me 3 coats with top coat.
Sometimes it looked more beige, sometimes it looked more pink.. It's really hard to decide.
China Glaze Lotus Begin is a deeper pastel lilac creme polish.
Application is rather easy, but it was rather thin initially. I had to shake it up really hard to get the polish mixed well and become a more regular texture.
Took me 3 coats with top coat for this due to bald spots.
Color is gorgeous though.
China Glaze At Vase Value is a pale minty aqua creme polish. This polish reminds me of China Glaze Aquadelic but lighter.
Application is great, but the color is a little thin so it took me 3 coats with top coat.
Overall I am loving this collection! The colors are all bright & pastels.. the types of colors I love & frequently use.
The only problems I have would be that there isn't much unique colors in this collection and I already have a list of similar polishes in my head. Will probably do a comparison post after I've swatched all of them.
Also, there seems to be too many pinks & corals. I wish there's more variety. :(
What do you think? Do you like what you had seen so far?
For those interested, the whole City Florish collection is now available for sale at www.PolishAlley.com
"Almost neon" almost got me :P :D Maybe I need the bright colors but well.. not the most unique collection youre totally right.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the swatches ♥
hello! would you mind doing a comparison of at vase value and essie's mint candy apple if you have it please? :)
ReplyDeleteI know you're probably not going to see this, but At Vase Value is like the aqua blue version of Mint Candy Apple. They're very similar in how pale and bright they are.
